In September 2007, the museum began a Founders' Series. Families that were influential in the growth and development of Excelsior Springs have been featured in displays and interactive programs. Genealogical and historical information has been gathered from family members, census records, and a multitude of other sources and is available for review during museum hours. Even after the display ends, volunteers have continued to process the mounds of information that were collected.
