Class will be instructed by Jane Kennedy, Lee's Summit, winner of quilt awards throughout the country Award Winning Quilt "Whose Woods Are These" Made and Entered by Jane Kennedy Started and Finished in 2005 Artist statement: This quilt was inspired by the poem, "Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost. I designed my own wintry view. All work was pieced or maching appliquééd - nothing was fused. It was free-hand machine quilted with a Bernina 1230 without a regulator. |
