Traveling Exhibit comes to Excelsior Springs Museum & Archives:

Work is Art and Art is Work: The Art of Hand-crafted Instruments

The Missouri Arts Council in partnership with the Missouri Folk Arts Program opens a traveling exhibition entitled Work is Art and Art is Work: The Art of Hand-crafted Instruments, an American Masterpieces project funded by the National Endowment for the Arts.

This exhibition has been made possible by funding from the National Endowment for the Arts through the American Masterpieces: Three Centuries of Artistic Genius initiative. Matching funds and services are provided by the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency, Missouri Folk Arts Program, and Museum of Art and Archaeology at the University of Missouri. It is brought to you by Mid-America Arts Alliance.
