Helpful Tips:

  • Title your list of sources "Works Cited."
  • The first line of a citation should be even with your left margin; all other lines
    should be indented 5 spaces.
  • If the publication date is not listed, use n.d. for no date;
    if paging is not listed, use n.p. for no page.
  • When citing from the Internet, the address (URL) can be copied and pasted
    from the Location Field to your word processed document.
  • The title of an Internet site can be found at the very top of the screen in
    Netscape in the blue title bar.
  • Date of access means the date you actually looked at the website.
