Because of the cost of printer paper and toner, we ask students to be discriminating in their printing. Following are some guidelines for printing in the library computer labs: 1. The printers are located that the Circulation Desk. Go there to pick up your print jobs. 2. You may print 5 pages of text per block for FREE. Additional pages are 5 cents each. 3. Print only what you need. That means you must know how to cut and paste--instructions on cutting and pasting are below. 4. When printing from MS Word, spell check and edit your work before printing to avoid having to reprint your document. 5. Send your information to the printer ONCE. If for some reason the printer does not print, check to make sure that your computer is logged on to the network. Do NOT send information to the printer if it doesn't print the first time--the printer has a memory and will eventually print out one copy for each time you pressed "print." 6. If you wish to print graphics of any kind, you must obtain permission IN ADVANCE and pay ten cents per page. 7. If you wish to print directly from the Internet, you must obtain permission IN ADVANCE and pay ten cents per page. 8. Please recycle by using the recycle box at the back of the labs. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * COPY AND PASTE FROM NETSCAPETo avoid wasting paper, ribbon, and printer time by printing excessive text or graphics, use the following guidelines: 1.
